Once you are ready to start on site how can you be sure that your builder is working in accordance with the drawings that you have provided?
Failure to follow the drawings can mean that you will spend thousands of pounds on a substandard construction. The Council of mortgage lenders require that all new houses are certified by either an architect or an insurance company to ensure that the works are of a minimum standard.
Your Local authority is required to inspect the works as the project develops however with the restrictions in council budgets, building inspectors are so over stretched that the only inspection undertaken, in many councils, is the final inspection.
Builders are very good at covering up defective works and it will only be after a failure that you will discover you have substandard work.
Ash Architectural have many years experience inspecting building works to ensure that the workmanship is to standard and that our clients receive the materials that they have requested.
Ash Architectural have undertaken projects large and small in Ayr, Airdrie, Bellshill, Bearsden, Coatbridge, Cumbernauld, Dumbarton, East Kilbride, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Glasgow, Greenock, Hamilton, Irvine, Largs, Motherwell, Milngavie, Newton Mearns, Paisley, Stirling, Troon and many other towns and villages throughout Scotland.
